
Day 1: Murchison Falls National Park
At 7 a.m. our guide, driver/mechanic and the support vehicle will pick you up to set off for the safari. The journey goes via Masindi town to Murchison Falls National Park. You will game drive through part of the park to the Nile River. You will spend the night at Paraa Safari Lodge which has a very beautiful view of the Nile River.

Day 2: Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park
This morning you will go for a game drive in the park. In the afternoon you make a boat trip towards the Murchison falls, you will go to the bottom of the 43mtrs high and famous Murchison falls. After your tour, you will sleep at the Paraa Safari Lodge which is located on the other side of the park.

Day 3: To Hoima
After a relaxed breakfast, you take off again from Murchison Falls for Hoima (the oil town of Uganda). On the way to Hoima, you will stop for a relaxing night at Kon Tiki Hotel which is a comfortable, 3 star hotel with a nice big garden in Hoima town. You stay here over night.

Day 4: To Kibale Forest
You will begin your journey to Kibale Forest as early as 7am and stop for a late lunch in Fort portal town. You will spend the night at Primate Lodge.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
There are 2 optional excursions on this day i.e. Bigodi Swamp walk (costs appr. $15 per person) and takes 2-3hrs, while Chimpanzee tracking (costs appr. $150 per person) and could take a full day depending on when you meet with the animals. In the afternoon you set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park which is located at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains and on to Elephant Plains Lodge where you will spend the night.

Day 6: Morning boat safari (Queen Elizabeth National Park) + Mbarara
The Kazinga Channel is an oasis for many of the fascinating species that inhabit the park, and taking a boat tour along it gives visitors the chance to cruise just meters from hundreds of enormous hippos and buffalos while elephants linger on the shoreline. An average of 60 bird species can be spotted during the trip. You will use the lodge’s safari boat (own cost) i.e. the Sunbird which seats ten passengers in comfort the boat has an experienced crew and comes with all the necessary safety equipment. Late in the afternoon, you will proceed to Mbarara where you will spend the night at Mihingo Lodge.

Day 7: Motorcycle Game Drive
After breakfast, we shall have a game drive around the Lake Mburo National Park. This should take about 3 hours. We shall then return to Mihingo Lodge. After this, you the option to go horseback riding, do a nature walk, bird watching on a boat ride, or go cycling.

Day 8: Back to Kampala & Good Bye Uganda
After breakfast you will ride/drive towards Kampala. You will have a stopover at the equator (Kayabwe-Masaka) to give you a picture opportunity, a chance to buy souvenirs and have lunch. The bikes will be dropped at Garuga. This is the end of your safari. Journey time: 5hrs.
