6 days, Kampala to Kampala

Day 1: Kampala to Jinja

At 7 a.m, our guide, driver/mechanic and the support vehicle will meet you at your hotel ready to set off for the safari. You have a choice to use the main road (tarmac) or the back road (murram) which will take an extra two hours. You will stay the night in Jinja at an accommodation of your choice.

Day 2: Exploring Jinja

You will spend the day enjoying the numerous activities Jinja has to offer. Jinja is a town in Eastern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria. Jinja is also the source of the River Nile, the longest river in the world (6,650km). There are numerous activities that you can do in Jinja. These include:

  • White Water Rafting
  • Quadbike tour along the Nile
  • Horseback riding along the Nile
  • Kayaking the Nile

You will spend the night in Jinja town before heading to Lake Kyoga the next day.

Day 3: Beatiful ride to Lake Kyoga

After a relaxed breakfast, you will make your way to Lake Kyoga via a scenic route in the middle part of Uganda.

Day 4: Explore the surroundings of Lake Kyoga

After an early breakfast, you will go for a ride around the lake. Lake Kyoga is a large shallow lake in Uganda, about 1720 square kilometers (660 square miles) in area and at an elevation of 1033 metres. The Victoria Nile flows through the lake on its way from Lake Victoria to Lake Albert.

Day 5: Back to Jinja

You will ride back to Jinja from Lake Kyoga. You will then spend the night in Jinja.

Day 6: Back to Kampala & Good Bye Uganda

After breakfast you will ride/drive towards Kampala. The bikes will be dropped at the Lake Victoria Serena. This is the end of your safari.
